We are excited to offer one of the best ponies to ever come through our barn for your consideration!
Poptart is truly a once in a lifetime pony, not just for a child but for the whole family!! You cannot help but love her! She is gentle, patient, forgiving, and most importantly SAFE 365 days a year. This little roany pony is what every child should start out on. She will teach them how to do everything from catching her out in the pasture, picking her feet, loading in the trailer, and everything in between that comes with owning and caring for a horse. Poptart is the type of pony that will build their confidence, and do absolutely anything asked of her with ZERO fuss. You can cut your kids loose in the pasture bareback with a lead rope around her neck and never give them a second thought. She loves to babysit! Although our favorite little gal is built more for feed than speed, she is by no means lazy!! She will move out and give you what you ask for every ride. She rides around like a handy ranch pony should, ride her one handed with your reins draped and lope across the pasture, then take her to the arena and she will frame right up and pack her face, carry a flag, do any of the playday events, rope the dummy, & push steers down the lane…Want to take the whole family to your town’s Christmas or Homecoming parade? No problem!! Poptart loves to pull the cart & tote the all the kids down the road! She is soft and correct, she will allow your child to learn how to ride the right way without creating bad habits. There’s no tricks or gimmicks with this pony. Poptart may not be the one to take your kid to any winner circle, but she will be the one that will teach them everything they need to know to be ready for the horse that will! She’s our #1 girl for all our tiny cowkids (aging 2&up). She’s been used all over the ranch, hauled to playdays, traveled out of town to trail ride and when she wasn’t being ridden she stood tied out on a picket or in a stall with never an ounce of trouble. She’s been to the stockyard, tracked the sled, pushed steers at the practice pen, the kids have tied and drug goats with her, she’s gone through all different types of obstacle courses, there is nothing we haven’t done with her! She rides kids double & bareback with no fuss. We have ponied her out of trucks, side by sides, off a big horse, & have ponied big horses off her! She’s been exposed to everything on our farm from guns, fireworks, inflatable slides/ kid birthday party shenanigans to cattle, dogs, chickens, goats, pigs, deer, turkeys, big horses (she’s is out in the pasture with a mixed herd of mares and geldings aging from yearling to 30!) and crazy ranch kids. Poptart is the real deal! She will suit absolutely any child, any age, any experience level, any discipline! If you want a pony that has the look, the mind, and the disposition you can count on no matter the circumstances THIS IS YOUR PONY! She is up to date on all vaccines, coggins, farrier, and dental work.
