Standing at 16 hands tall. He is absolutely gorgeous with long feathers, mane and tail. We are only his second owners, having bought him from the family that raised him. He has all the characteristics of a horse that was raised right, having been exposed to many different environments and activities. This has fostered a great mindset in Atticus as he is always down for something new, extremely willing, sweet, social, and has a heart of gold. We consider Atticus a Jack of all trades. He has been ridden by any level rider. He’s participated in parades, carriage rides, weddings and local trail obstacle class. Atticus has covered many miles in the mountains crossing anything in his path. He is extremely user friendly under saddle. He has a true one hand neck rein and moves off your seat and leg effortlessly. He comes into the bridle and softens over the bit easily when asked and understands simple changes. Atticus is familiar with xrails. Atticus has cool buttons for more experienced riders; however, if you are a beginner or more of a timid rider Atticus is a great option. He is extremely forgiving and always tries to figure out what you’re asking. He never punishes the kids or beginners who are trying to figure out proper cues or trying to figure out their place in the saddle.
