Partner is an 11yr old 14.3 hand palomino quarter horse gelding that is stout enough to carry any size rider. Partner is well trained in and outside of the arena, he has a smooth walk, trot and slow canter and picks up both his leads and is super soft in the bridle. Partner is gentle enough i think anybody could get along with him, he neckreins, sidepasses and is responsive to leg cues. We have taken Partner on miles of trails, over logs, through water in all kinds of rough terrian and he goes wherever you point him. We have also taken Partner down the main highway into town to run errands and he dont mind any of the traffic. I think Partner would be well suited for any level rider and make them look like professionals.
We have exposed him to bouncy balls, flapping tarps and all kinds of obstacles and he takes it like another day at the park. We have hauled Partner to state parks for day rides and have also used him to push cattle.
Partner was used on a ranch doctoring and pushing cattle so he knows what a days work is all about. Partner has also had reining training making him handy as a pocket knife. He spins both ways and has a huge stop.
Partner does well inside or turned out in a mixed herd. He stands for the farrier and to be mounted and tacked and washed. Partner is up to date on farrier , dewormer and had his teeth done in June.
