Rita as we call her is a 14yr old 14.2 hand mare that is very well trained in and out of the arena. She is very quiet making her a perfect fit for a family or kids horse as she is forgiving and always takes care of her rider no matter the situation. Rita has had reining training when she was younger so she has a power steering and a huge stop. She knows all the reining maneuvers and side passes and is super easy and fun to ride.
We have used Rita to push cattle and run errands on the road into town and she doesnt mind any of it. We have exposed her to flapping tarps and balls and obstacles.
I think Rita would make a great lesson horse as she is easy to ride and very forgiving, she is gentle around the children, they can brush and lead her and ride her in the arena. Rita does well inside or turned out in a mixed herd. She stands to be bathed, shod and to be tacked and mounted. Rita sells safe, sound and ready to move into her forever home.
